Rear axle- Rear wheel hub with brake drum assembly

18. Install the left rear wheel hub bearing
(a). Apply lubricating grease on the outer ring of the
inner tapered roller bearing and press it to the left
rear wheel hub with a hammer and a copper bar.
Lubricating grease: Lithium Grease No. 2

(b). Apply lubricating grease on the outer ring of the
outer tapered roller bearing and press it to the left
rear wheel hub with a hammer and a copper bar.
Lubricating grease: Lithium Grease No. 2

(c). Fill a large amount of lubricating grease inside
the left rear wheel hub.
Usage amount of lubricating grease (single
wheel hub):

Vehicle type Usage amount

1051 series 280 g 25

1061 series 420 g

1089 series 420 g

19. INstall the left rear wheel hub oil seal

(a). Heat the inner oil seal ring to make it expand
and use special press mold to press it on the left
half-axle bushing.
Notice:
A new inner oil seal ring must be replaced

(b). At the same time, press the inner ring of the
inner tapered roller bearing on the left half-axle
bushing with a hammer and a copper bar and
apply lubricating grease on it.
