Rear axle- Differential assembly

(g). Measure the radial clearance of the cross shaft
and the planetary gear by a bench screw and a dial
indicator.
Radial clearance:

1051 series 0 ～ 0.04 mm 0.09 mm
1061 series 0 ～ 0.04 mm 0.09 mm

1089 series 0 ～ 0.12 mm 0.25 mm

If the radial clearance is beyond the limit value, check
the worn of the cross shaft and the planetary gear and
replace them if necessary.
Notice:
Make sure to wrap the cross shaft with a soft cloth and
then clamp it with a bench screw so as to avoid damage.
(h). Measure the radial clearance of the half-axle
gear and the differential case by bench screw and
a dial indicator.

25 1061 series 0 ～ 0.08 mm 0.16 mm

1089 series 0 ～ 0.22 mm 0.45 mm
If the radial clearance is beyond the limit value, check
the worn of the half-axle gear and the differential
housing and replace them if necessary.
(i). Measure the clearance of the half-axle gear and the
half-axle spline by bench screw and dial indicator.

1089 series 0.030 ～ 0.217 mm 1.11 mm

If the clearance is beyond the limit value, check the
worn of the half-axle gear and the half-axle spline ,
replace them if necessary.
