Rear axle- rear wheel brake
• Tighten the brake lamp switch lock
nut.
Torque: 20 ± 5 N•m
Hint:
Do not rotate brake lamp switch when tightening
the brake lamp switch lock nut.

• Connect the brake lamp switch
connector.

2. Inspect brake pedal free stroke
(a). Stop the engine and depress the brake
pedal gently until slight resistance is felt.

(a). Loosen the parking brake.
(b). When the engine is running, depress the
brake pedal and measure the pedal
reserve distance.
