Rear axle- rear wheel brake

Overhal

1. Raise the vehicle with a hoisting jack.
2. Remove front wheels and tires (refer to “chapter 23 wheels and tires-front wheels and
tires, replacement”)
3. Remove the left front wheel hub cover
(a). Remove the 4 fixing bolts from the
wheel hub cover and then remove the
wheel hub cover.

(b). Remove the wheel hub cover pad.

4. Remove the left front steering knuckle
nut
(a). Remove the cotter pin from the steering
knuckle nut.
(b). Remove the steering knuckle nut.

(c). Remove the locking washer from the
steering knuckle nut.
