                                                    clutch-cluch master cylinder

                                                                5.    remove the clutch master cylinder
                                                                (a).   Loosen the 2 fixing bolts of the clutch master
                                                                    cylinder as shown in the illustration.
                                                                (b).   Take down the clutch master cylinder assembly.














                                                                6.    disassemble the clutch master cylinder
                                                                (a).   Loosen the push rod lock nut of the clutch master
                                                                    cylinder and take down the clutch master cylinder
                                                                    clevis.
                                                                (b).   Fasten the clutch master cylinder on the bench screw
                                                                    as shown in the illustration.
                                                                (c).   Push the piston with a push rod according to the
                                                                    direction shown in the illustration and take out the
                                                                    clamp spring with the spring pliers.
                                                                (d).   Move out the push rod and take out the piston from
                                                                    the master cylinder of the clutch.
                                                                Notice:
                                                                •    the piston may suddenly pop up, so the push rod
                                                                    shall be pulled out slowly with well-distributed
                                                                    strength during the operation.
                                                                •    the piston and its seal ring are precise mating
                                                                    parts, don’t contact the external surface of the
                                                                    piston or the internal surface of the master
                                                                    cylinder.                                      32








                                                                7.    assemble the clutch master cylinder
                                                                (a).   Apply a little lubricant on the positions shown in the
                                                                    illustration in order to install conveniently.
                                                                (b).   Install the piston and the whole spring into the master
                                                                    cylinder.
                                                                Notice:
                                                                Don’t damage the external surface of the piston and
                                                                the internal surface of the master cylinder.
