Program Coordinator
Marsha E. Jackson, Ed.D., currently serves as
Program Coordinator and Associate Professor for the
Master of Arts Human Resource Development
Program and Advisor for the Human Resource
Development Society at Bowie State University. She
received a B.A. degree in Sociology/Psychology from
University of Maryland College Park; an M.A. in
Human Resource Development from Bowie State
University; and an Ed.D. in Adult Education and
Human Resource Development from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and
State University.
Prior to devoting her full attention to the development of graduate scholars
she served ten years as Director of Leadership Prince George’s, at 10-
month training and development program for leaders in Prince George’s
County, Maryland. Dr Jackson’s interest in research has been an ongoing
extension of finding the critical links from stumbling blocks to success in
women of color.
She is currently working on a book that addresses from a spiritual
perspective, emotional behaviors in women and how we can divorce
ourselves from the negative emotions to create the things we want.
