HBCU COLLEGE FAIR AT HOWARD W. BLAKE HIGH SCHOOL
Howard W. Blake High School of the Performing Arts was the site of an Historically Black Colleges and Uni- versities (HBCUs) College Fair and Decision Day last month. Among the colleges and universities with repre- sentatives in attendance were: Spelman College, Bethune-Cookman University, Florida A&M University, Hillsborough Community College, Cheyney University, Edward Waters College, and Florida Memorial Uni- versity. These members of the Blake High School Urban Teaching Academy who assisted with the event are: Ayanna Anderson, Chaya Baptiste, Jael Baptiste, Alana Blocker, Julissa Flores, Samiyah Thomas and Derricka Whyte.
