Checklist



                               Can         demonstrate             good         hand/ball
                                  contact  while  holding  the  ball.  The
                                  fingers are comfortably spread, relaxed
                                  wrist, contact with the palm of the hand.

                               Assumes T-position (see throwing)

                               Elbow  leads  contact  hand  to  a  high
                                  contact point

                               Brings  non-dominant  hand  to  "yes"
                                  position

                               From  the  ground,  contacts  ball  with

                                  dominant hand contacts the ball with an
                                  open  hand,  fingers  relaxed  and  spread
                                  and hits over the net

                               Follow through after contact bring hand
                                  down to the waist

                               Can jump without an approach, assume
                                  the T-position, and hit the ball over the
                                  net.

                               Can  implement  a  two-step  approach  in
                                  the  correct  foot  sequence,  jump  and

                                  attack the ball over the net.
