Documentation










           During the evaluation period,
               raters should document both
               positive and negative aspects of
               job performance.


                  Employee performance logs

           Employees should receive
               feedback throughout the

               evaluation cycle, not only when
               it is time for formal evaluation.

           Raters should be required to
               justify each rating they give with
               explicit examples.


           Raters should provide clear,
               descriptive, job-related,
               constructive, frequent, timely,
               and realistic feedback.
