1.  Non-completion of any of the following subjects will not disqualify applicants to Level III, to wit:
            a.  GEC 1 (Understanding the Self)
            b.  GEC 2 (Reading in the Philippine History)
            c.  GEC 5 (Art Appreciation)
            d.  GEC 4 (Purposive Communication)
            e.  GEC 6 (Science, Technology & Society)
            f.  NUR 222 (Nursing Informatics)
            g.  NSTP (2 semesters only)
         2.  The College of Nursing maintains 40-50 students per section. The number of applicants admitted shall
            depend on the number of slots available as there are students who went on Leave of Absence (LOA)
            who shall be returning as regular Level III students.
         3.  An applicant found physically and mentally unfit, even if he passes the other screening criteria,  shall
            not be admitted. The applicant who is next in rank shall be considered.
         4.  Problems related to the screening procedures must be in writing and coursed to the Dean of College of
            Nursing.

        Admission Policies for Transferees from Other Nursing Schools

          1. Transferees are admitted on a case-to-case basis. A transferee who failed 20% of his registered
            courses shall not be admitted.

            2. Transferees must submit the following requirements:

               a.  Transfer credentials / records / certificate of grades
               b.  Eligibility of courses and grades obtained with a General Weighted Average of 2.5 or better.
               c.  Certification of Good Moral Character
               d.  Admission slip signed by the University Registrar
               e.  Marriage contract (if applicable)

           3.  Transferees should pass the entrance examination for first year and second year
             transferee.

            4. No third year and fourth year transferees will be admitted

        Admission Policies for Shifters from Non-Nursing Course

        1. A parent’s consent for shifting must be submitted to the screening committee.


        2. Shifters from schools other than Isabela State University have to submit all of the following requirements:

               a.  Transfer credentials / records / certificate of grades
               b.  Eligibility of courses and grades obtained with a General Weighted Average of 2.5 or better.
               c.  Certification of Good Moral Character
               d.  Admission slip signed by the University Registrar
               e.  Marriage contract (if applicable)


        3.  Shifters  have  to  pass  the  interview  of  the  College  Screening  Committee  and  be  examined  by  the
        University  Physician  or  his  authorized  representative.  He  must  be  physically  and  mentally  fitted  to  be
        allowed to enroll in the program

        4. Subjects taken from the previous course should be validated within the semester of entry of the students.
