Thanks to internet platforms being easy to navigate,
launching a product or side project in some form or
another can assist in providing opportunities to
safeguard against job losses and/or outdated skillsets
being surplus to requirements.

Worrying levels of uncertainty in the world economic

environment have always been present, and worsened
by war and disease, etc. Having experienced two of the
most significant recorded economic downturns, I have
seen first-hand how it has become vital to ensure
ourselves against potential job losses.

Don't just sit back and hope it will never happen… have
a plan in place. There are going to be several ways to

sandbag against job losses in your life, so why not start
a side project first? From my experience, one of the most
important starting points is networking with people
from various business and ethnic backgrounds. Just
start by talking to people and asking their opinions.
