            A distribution channel is a way of getting your promise
            (product) delivered to your customer.

            The confusion always arises because SOMETIMES

            the same company can be both a sales channel
            and a distribution channel.

            Several  sales  channels  are  explained  below.  You  can
            decide to use them on their own or combine them for the

            sale of your product.
            Generally, when you are starting out your side hustle or

            product launch you will use personal selling. You will be
            one of the key resources as a selling channel.

            Personal sales – using yourself or your own employed
            team of salespeople to sell your product.

            Outsourcing  the  sales  –  using  a  third  party  (not
            controlled by you) sales company to sell your product
            for you.

            Automated  retail/service  kiosks  –  sales  through
            vending machines.
