Proactive Protective Measures
1. The safety of residents, visitors, and staff is maintained through Hopess safety management plans.
2. Hopess takes proactive measures to reduce risks and damage through routine safety and
maintenance inspections, safety drills, and through routine maintenance activities.
3. The risk of loss of critical information is reduced through evaluation of functions and
implementation of recommendations made to reduce risks and to protect current data and
information.
Staff Training
1. Appropriate staff will be trained in the Disaster Recovery Plan and alternative procedures to follow
when electronic systems are unavailable during job training and on an ongoing basis as needed.
Testing
1. The Disaster Recovery Plan will be tested every six months. Disaster drills will be performed
every 3 months.
