Tiered Labor Process Overview:
Each job performed by NES-WES requires tiered labor invoicing. The technicians certifications levels
dictate the labor rate at which they should be invoiced. The service is proposed with tiered labor
pricing and under normal circumstances the proposed (tiered) labor rates must be captured. This
document describes the necessary functions of each party within this process. This process requires
effective communications between service manager and administrative function throughout the
project, to closure.
Tiered labor pricing structure:
1. Service Technician rate
a. 2k to 10k planned maintenance items, all engine series, no alignment work.
i. 6 Series require alignment verification every 4kOPH, alignment requires Supervisor.
b. SCR planned maintenance work.
c. BOP work
d. Initial troubleshooting work in conjunction with APMC support.
e. Any overhaul work where a Service Supervisor is lead.
2. Service Supervisor rate
a. All overhaul work
b. 20k, 30k, 40k, 60k planned maintenance items, all engine types
c. All alignment work
d. Any generator work
e. Any controls related work, including SCR and BOP controls work.
f. Troubleshooting work that does not require APMC support.
3. Service Engineer rate
a. All commissioning work
b. Controls CM&U
c. High level troubleshooting when specifically requested by customer.
