► They want to avoid running out of money before they die.

► They want to prevent their surviving spouse from running

                  out of money.

► They want to pay less income tax.

► They want to be remembered after they are gone.

I believe that my advice and investment strategy, while not

groundbreaking or revolutionary, will give you the best chance
to build, maintain, and preserve a nest egg that will allow

you to live life on your terms in retirement. The admittedly
immodest title of my book comes from my experience with

retirees who I might have met with five, ten, 20, or even 30 years
ago who worked with another advisor or decided to manage

their own money. In almost every instance, when reviewing
                                                                    add comma
their investments and track record over that time, I think that
these retirees would have fared better if they had listened to my
advice. In the vast majority of these cases, I can run the numbers

and I know that these people would have been better off if they
            had followed my advice.

I’ve attended countless meetings with money managers,
mutual fund companies, economists, and investment strategists.

I’ve learned about hundreds of new investments, new mutual
funds, fixed-income strategies, derivative investments, inflation
