the receivers, perpetrators and transmitters of
sustainable destination info. Once they inform
the tourists of the sustainable practices at the
destination, they can imbibe and integrate this
info into their activities also. The SMEs are
the souvenir manufacturers, entertainment
providers, etc., and they are responsible for the
development and performance of sustainable
practices at tourism destination. Hospitality
firms are dealt with separately as they are the
main actors and have maximum access to the
tourists as far as delivery of services is
concerned during their stay at the destination.
They can highlight the various sustainable
practices being practiced at their property and
guide and influence the tourists to a
‗sustainable‘ behavior while at the destination.
