Thanksgiving treat idea to have at home

or share with others at a Thanksgiving get together.

Mix together the following items and fill Ziploc bags to share. Kids can add fes-
tive stickers to each bag! Print out the following to add with a ribbon to the bag.

Pretzels-To represent arms folded in prayer.

Bugle snacks-To represent the horn of plenty, the symbol of abundance.

Candy corn-To represent pilgrims first winter as food was scarce and they sur-
vived on a few kernels a day.

Dried fruit-represents the harvest we receive from our bountiful land.

M&M’s-represent the memories of those who came before us to guide us into a

blessed future.
Chocolate kisses-represents the love of family or friends that sweeten our lives.
