Good Business Practices

     8. Mutually beneficial supplier relationships. In
        partnerships, a mutually beneficial supplier
relationship is important for the success of both
entities. For too many companies, this relationship is
just expressed in words…it needs to be a reality. In
order to succeed, both parties have to win. It cannot
be a “one way” relationship. The partnership must
        work for both companies.

     9. Be prepared for audits. Certification is not a
one-time event. It requires a commitment from
top management and from all levels of an
organization, and a focus on continuous
improvement. Make the requirements of the
standard part of your everyday culture, including
maintaining a strong internal audit program.
     10. Be knowledgeable. There is so much to learn in
the world of certification. Training classes are
available for internal and lead auditors, as well as
process auditing, root cause analysis and defining
key processes, to name a few. The format for
these classes varies from web-based, online,
classroom and blended (combination of online
        and classroom training).

At EAGLE, we realize training and consulting are not
our core competencies. We are focused 100% on
     providing accredited third-party certification services.

However, we do provide a search tool for you to
select a resource provider based on your specific
