Aspects
Activities or products or services that can interact with
the environment.
Audit
A systematic, independent and documented process
for obtaining audit evidence and evaluating it
objectively to determine the extent to which audit
criteria are fulfilled in order to conform to a scheme.
Audit Conclusion
The outcome of an audit provided by the audit team
after consideration of the audit objectives and all audit
findings.
Audit Criteria
A set of policies, procedures or requirements used as
a reference.
Audit Evidence
Records, statements of fact or other information which
are relevant to the audit criteria and verifiable to the
company’s key processes.
Audit Cycle
The period from the date of the end of the onsite initial
audit to the date of the end of the Recertification
Audit. See Chapter 2 for more information.
Audit Findings
Results of the evaluation of the collected audit
evidence against audit criteria.
