The  SQF  standard  is  a  globally  trusted  and
      accepted  food  safety  and  quality  program.

      However,  it  is  the  only  such  program  recognized
      by  the  Global  Food  Safety  Initiative  that  is
      headquartered in the United States  (Arlington,  VA).
      SQF  provides  a  comprehensive  service  to  the
      International food industry. At the same time, buyers
      and  suppliers  from  all  over  the  world,  including
      Australia,  Asia,  Europe  and  Africa  have  benefited
      from  adopting  a  program  that  is  truly  global  in
      nature.

      The  SQF  Program  offers  a  solution  for  primary
      producers  like  farms,  packers,  manufacturers,
      distributors and retailers by creating one standard for
      food safety from farm to fork with industry-specific
      requirements developed by stakeholders.

      It  has  many  unique  features  to  help  ensure  trust
      and  consistency in the auditing process, as well as
      greater  oversight of auditing activities conducted by
      companies  and  individuals  operating  on  behalf  of
      the  SQF Institute.

      SQF offers different modules based on the different
      industries. All suppliers have to comply with Module
      2:  SQF  System  Elements  and  whichever  other
      module  represents their industry.
