Gurnee Park District
FitNation Multi-Purpose Room Renovation
The third phase of renovation to the FitNation Fitness Center owned by the Gurnee Park District
comprised renovating the former retail spaces of the entry corridor at the entrance to FitNation.
By creating a multi-purpose room for group classes such as martial arts and pickle ball, a
conference room for staff use and sales, additional storage and public toilets, this $620,000
renovation completes the Park District's conversion of a Gold's Gym into their new fitness
revenue facility.
Lake Bluff Park District
Blair Park Pool and Sunrise Beach Renovations
After having passed a referendum for need capital improvements throughout the Lake Bluff Park
District, FGM was selected to improve Blair Park Pool and Sunrise Beach. For a construction cost
of $1,675,000, renovations to Blair Park Pool are highlighted by a new wading pool for tots and
include improvements to the filtration system and adding a liner to the main pool. Access was
improved to Sunrise Beach as well as improvements to the beach house.
