Wentzville Fire Protection District
Fire House No. 2
After successfully passing a Summer 2014 Bond Referendum the Wentzville Fire Protection District
contracted with FGM to deliver the first two of four new fire houses. The Wentzville Fire District
protects 88 square miles in the western side of St. Charles County (west of St. Louis County)
serving a rapidly expanding population base. The two new fire stations – completely new
houses to the District – help the District to better serve their extreme Northern and Southern parts
with added Fire Protection and ALS (advanced Life Support). Fire House No. 2 was delivered for
$3,600,000.

Fire House No. 5
In order to expediently serve their constituents, the Wentzville Fire Protection District decided,
with FGM’s guidance, that the most practical approach would be for all their new satellite
stations to be of a prototype design. House No. 2 was a full design effort from initial
Programming and Design through Documentation while House No. 5 modified the prototype
layout to fit a more urban site. Construction progressed on both sites and houses concurrently
with Fire House No. 5 being delivered 2 months later for $3,800,000.
