Maryland Heights Fire Protection District
Fire House No.2
The plan for this 17,000 SF, $4,600,000 House No. 2 consists of three drive-through bays as well as
separate living quarters and a day room for privacy. Up to six full-time firefighters can be
accommodated in the living quarters per shift with separate shower rooms adjacent to each
bunk room. The day room is adjacent to a full kitchen and dining room. The project was funded
through successful passage of an October 2014 by the Maryland Heights Fire Protection District.
City of McHenry
Recreation Center
After extensive planning and years of saving developer contributions for a Recreation Center,
the City of McHenry selected FGM to design a new recreation facility for the community. The
18,100 SF center includes fitness areas, multi-purpose rooms and administrative offices for a cost
of $4,200,000. The orientation and the design of the building on the site support future expansion
such as adding a gymnasium, indoor aquatics or outdoor aquatics.
