Cranberry Shores Chorus

Cranberry Shores Chorus Participates in A Capella Festival

The salt sea air of Cape Cod was alive with the sound of a cappella music on October 14 when the
Cotuit Center for the Arts held its first (and we hope “annual”) a cappella festival. Cranberry Shores
Chorus was invited to perform along with two other a cappella groups – the Cape Cod Surftones (a
men’s barbershop group) and Centertonix (an a cappella group formed by the Cotuit Center for the
Arts). We performed a 30 minute program to a very appreciative, SRO crowd. And judging from
their response, we will be back again next year. This type of concert is great SAI public relations
where we are able to not only demonstrate the essence of women’s barbershop music, but also allow

the audience to note the difference between our a cappella style and other styles. We were thrilled to

participate.
