Island Grove Chorus

ISLAND GROVE CHORUS RINGS THE RAFTERS IN NEW VENUE

Island Grove Chorus, (IGC), the two-time winner of Region One’s Audience Choice Award, hosted an
October show for the public, entitled “BERLIN TO BEATLES”. Songs by Irving Berlin and The
Beatles demonstrated the range and scope of our musical genre.

Ticket sales were strong, providing a golden opportunity for “outreach”. IGC continues its role as a
“community performance chorus” (a “cpc”) where we showcase our form of a cappella music to the
general public. Our dedication to community performances continues, with three (3) upcoming holiday
concerts open to the general public, one of them free.

IGC’s “in-house” quartet—-The Fourmidables—-(Region One’s “Most Improved Quartet-2016”) was
featured at our October show. The quartet is always a point of interest to the audience, and the absolute
icing on the cake!

IGC was pleased to perform our October show in a new venue, Stetson Hall of Randolph, MA, which
provided room for our ever-growing audience. Even more importantly, it features far superior acoustics.
