THE NATIONS WORSHIP AROUND THE THRONE

Truth to Teach

Revelation 15:4b ‘All nations will come and worship before you for your righteous acts
have been revealed.’

Revelation 7:9 ‘After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no-

one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language,
standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb….’

Philippians 2:10 ‘…...at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on
earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ the Lord.’

One day every knee will bow before Jesus, the King of kings. People from every nation will
gather around the throne to worship God.

Way to Work

1. Review the term’s project on Europe.

2. Give time for the children to share what they have felt about the project, things they
have learned, prayed for, etc.

3. Read the above verses with the children. Discuss the importance of the Great

Commission in relation to eternity.

4. Let different children read out the songs which were sung around the throne in

Revelation 4:8 5:12-13 7:10-12 15:3-4

5. Divide the children into groups to see if they can write songs which could be sung
around the throne. Alternatively, they could adapt and/or create tunes for those
read.

6. The children may like to draw Jesus sitting on a throne, or write his name in large
letters, with all the names of the European nations scattered around in different
