Learning for Life
Over the term, it is hoped that the children have come to a greater appreciation of where
God has called them to live at this time. Many may have felt drawn to a certain European
country. They will perhaps see the urgency of sharing our faith with those around us and
the importance of praying for other nations.
PROGRAMME FOR EUROPEAN SLEEPOVER
Friday
6.00 pm Arrive and assign to continent groups
6.15 Evening meal – A Continental meal, eg Italian pizza
6.45 Jobs in groups - washing up
- clearing tables
- laying breakfast
7.15 Costume parade (children come dressed in European clothes)
7.45 Change into casual clothes if necessary
8.00 Scottish Country Dancing
8.45 Drink and snack
9.00 Video/DVD of European nation(s) or guest speaker
9.30 European games/activities/singing/quiz on term’s work
10.00 Drink
10.15 Prepare for bed
