1. The children should be able to distinguish between a question, a command, a
statement and an exclamation.

2. They should recognise the punctuation signs needed to end the different
types of sentences.

3. They should know how to change a statement into a question and vice versa.

4. They should know how to make commands by moving the verb to the
beginning.
