                   39 Visitors

Visitors to GNOC are by appointment only and must sign the Visitor Register and visitors are to be
seen in the reception area or in the meeting rooms and as far as possible and not taken to an employees
work station. This is especially important because of the recent pandemic. The health and safety of
everyone at GNOC is of utmost importance.

A visit without an appointment will need to be cleared by the employee concerned before a visitor is
                   allowed entry.

It is important that all staff treat visitors with respect and courtesy to ensure that GNOC image and
                   reputation is maintained. This includes:

                       1. Redirect them to the boardroom or area where they will be comfortable
                       2. Offering refreshments at appropriate times
                       3. Making visitors feel comfortable to be here
                       4. Not keeping visitors waiting for long periods
                       5. Not exposing visitors to poor behavior, including shouting, inappropriate language and so on.

                   40 Kitchen

Tea, coffee, milk and sugar are supplied to all employees at no cost.

The kitchen contains a hot water urn or kettle, and refrigerator, microwave and tables and chairs for the
                   convenience of all staff.

Staff are expected to clean up after they have used any of the common areas or kitchen appliances.

Staff must wash and put all crockery and cutlery away after use. Nothing should be left sitting in the
                   sink.

Staff are also expected to refrain from having what is not theirs (i.e. do not eat what is not yours).

                   41 Tidiness

Office presentation is important to GNOC’s overall image as a professional Organization.

Accordingly, every effort should be made by staff to ensure the office remains in a neat and tidy state.

Individual rubbish baskets are provided at each workstation. Staff should try not to put food scraps in
these bins, but rather place them in the large bin for this purpose located in the kitchen.

The office custodian/janitor is responsible for emptying rubbish bins and general office cleaning.
