the use of plastics at individual level would be the most effective solution for
current environmental issue.
Our next question was about public preference on the target products and
regulating method.
Over the 50% of the people responded that they prefer the regulation or
replacement related to the use of plastic bags. Our research team could assume
that the public is aware of the seriousness of the plastic wastes generated by the
use of plastic bags in the supermarket. However, the public preferred the regulation
of plastic bags rather than the replacement of it.
Lastly, we asked the question related to the reaction of the public.
The reaction of the public was very positive. The majority (90.5%) responded
that the policies would be very effective and they hope the regulation to be
implemented.
