industry-wide push to make streaming a real alternative to downloading games.2
And, much like television before it, partnerships between top game platforms such
as Microsoft and Nintendo designed to enable users to access game subscription
services within each other’s ecosystems (also known as ‘cross-play’) signal a vital
precursor for the sustainability of game-streaming platforms.
iii ) Printing – Publication
Printing has been around since 3000 BCE and they have come a long way
ever since. From printing with the round seals and clay tablets to using 3D printing.
In the future, printing will become more environmentally friendly because of the
bad effect the printing poses. Thus, the printer will become environmentally friendly
by recycling the cartridges and paper. Moreover, the 3D printing will become more
advanced, affordable and will change lives. 3D printing is going to be more useful
for people in the future.
Among the change in the field of publications, especially novels,
collaboration between computers and humans and the spread of mixed reality are
noticeable. AI software, which adopts the Machine Learning technique, is expected
to be able to participate in creative activities by analyzing and presenting various
patterns and trends not yet discovered by humans.3
iv) New media – Internet
Today, social networks are used for social interaction, business, various
activities, fund-raising purposes or simply stating one’s opinion. And in the
process, they are being in conversation with others. In fact, as opposed to
traditional media like debating and discussion, the reverse is standing in now: the
communication is being set using social media which is then filtering out into
traditional forums. New media has already meant a change in lifestyle for many.
