  ADVENTURES
It really was an extremely busy first half of term as well as an incredibly positive one. This, as ever, is thanks to the enthusiasm of the children, the hard work and commitment of our fantastic staff and to the ongoing support and loyalty from you, our wonderful parents. Thank you!
As promised, the pages that follow provide you with a ‘round-up’ of some of the success that we have enjoyed so far this term and some of what we have been getting up to. I have also tried to highlight some important events for your diaries next half of term. I have a feeling that, if it is possible, next half of term will be even busier than the first half!
Our full-boarders are due to be back with us on the evening of Sunday 31st October to enjoy a ‘spooktacular’ Halloween Party. School will start for everyone else at the usual time on Monday 1st November.
We will be having a Bonfire Night party at school for all children, parents, siblings and relatives on the evening of Saturday 6th November and we hope that many of you will be able to join us for what promises to be a great evening.

I have challenged children to make a Guy and bring it to school after Half Term. The best examples will find their way onto our bonfire. Apologies to those of you who may feel that this tradition is a little macabre!
I hope you all have a wonderful Half Term and that you look forward to a busy second half of term leading up to Christmas. Oh dear, I’ve mentioned Christmas in October!
As ever, please do get in touch with me if you have anything you would like to discuss headmaster@abberleyhall.co.uk
