                              Grilled asparagus


                                       With bacon


                                         Ingredients



               One bunch fresh asparagus (fairly large stalks)
               One Pound medium cut Bacon
               One package bamboo skewers


                                         Lagniappe

               Pre cook the bacon in a microwave, oven, or pan till strips are near done.
               Allow bacon to cool to touch.

               Snap the hardened bottom section from the stalks of the Asparagus stalks

               Wrap the stalks of Asparagus with the precooked bacon, skewer stalks with
               toothpick or several stalks onto the bamboo skewers.

               Grill over medium heat till the bacon has completed cooking, making sure
               the Asparagus does not become burnt before the bacon has finish cooking.
