4.C.2.1. Azlocilline et Mezlocilline
Ces deux composés nécessitent la préparation préalable d'oxo-2 imidazolidines
mono et bisubstituées Il et Ill.

A partir de l'imidazolidinone-2 :I, on obtient, par action directe du phosgène,
le chlorure de carbamoyle Il, alors que la mésylation préalable suivie de la silyla-
tion du second azote afin de le rendre plus sensible à l'attaque électrophile et
enfin de l'action du phosgène fournit III.
