Together, we prepare people for work.
Parties, luncheons, and seasonal festivities may be held during work time on Goodwill-Easter Seals
premises with appropriate management approval. However, such activities are only permitted under
the following conditions:
• Parties and gatherings must have prior approval from the appropriate Goodwill-Easter Seals
manager, such as a Chief Officer or the President/CEO.
• Non-work-related and/or seasonal parties and events serve only a social purpose. They are
not paid by GESMN, except under unique circumstances that are approved by Human
Resources or the President/CEO.
• Parties, events, and gifts to recognize personal occasions such as retirements, resignations,
promotions, or birthdays must be fully funded by employees. These expenses are not
eligible for reimbursement by GESMN.
• Serving and drinking alcoholic beverages on GESMN premises (or at events sponsored by
GESMN) is generally prohibited unless approved by the President/CEO.
• Parties must be conducted in a manner consistent with GESMN standards for personal and
professional conduct.
Employees should contact their manager or Human Resources if they have questions regarding social
events.
