THE TUCKSHOP
If an Army marches on its stomach, W.S.H.S. students must surely be the
best marchers ever.
Over the past year they have consumed 22,176 bread rolls, 31,648 pies,
21,000 doughnuts, 1 1,592 sausage rolls, 21,000 fruit pies, and 33,264 small
cakes.
A profit of £1,419 was achieved and has been handed over to the Parents'
and Citizens' Association to be used for the provision of amenities and equip
ment for the school.
Tuck Shop duties are carried out by mothers of past, present and future
students and, in some cases, grandmothers of present students.
Any mothers wishing to assist in the daily work of the Tuck Shop are
invited to inform Mrs. Brosnan (96 3978).
The Tuck Shop ladies wish to thank the students for their good manners
and behaviour at the Tuck Shop, and wish them success in the coming exams.
