        Performance Reviews
Snooze encourages a streaming dialogue on how the Snooze world is going, we have two annual review periods,
outside of your initial 90-day review. This way, everyone’s reviewed at the same time, all actions taken are aligned
with those of your peers and we use milestone dates like your 6 months, 1 year, 5-year and 10-year anniversary for
what they are made for: Celebration!

90 Day Review – After completing your first 90 days at Snooze you will receive a review and we will provide
feedback. We want to hear feedback on your Snooze experience so far too.
         * If your 90-day review falls in line with April or October we will conduct a normal bi-annual review at that time.
April Review – Every Snoozer, regardless of working for one month or 3 years and 4 months, will receive “bi-annual”
review around April 2 , aka Snooze’s birthday.
                            nd
October Review – The second half of your “bi-annual” review. The half way points for you, us, and Snooze!

        Being Ready to Rock…or NOT!

        Arrival, Readiness & Tardiness
We’re AM people, and as such we’re expected to be on, even when most people are just waking up. It’s paramount
that we’re ready right when we’re supposed to be. You will be expected to perform your job the moment you clock
in, so be ready. If you’re scheduled to wait tables at 8am, your bags should be stowed, apron tied and pen ready to
rock at 8am, in which time you can clock in. Your clock in time is the moment you are scheduled for; readiness at
8:05am is considered tardy. If you clock in more than 10 minutes late or 10 minutes early it will require
        management approval.

Incidents occur that are often out of our control. If you’re stuck in traffic and going to be 5 minutes late, call your
manager to let them know. Remember if you have too many colds, too many flat tires, or too many weddings to
attend, that is not responsible behavior. Being late or not showing up for your shift not only disrupts Snooze’s
business but inconveniences your fellow Snoozers. Tardiness, failure to timely call in and/or unexcused absence(s)
may result in discipline, up to and including dismissal.

        Absence
Absence is unacceptable. Absence begins the moment you are more than 30 minutes late for a shift and have not
called or received clearance from the manager on duty. The following describes our absence guide:

Excused Absence – Call the manager on duty at least 2 hours prior to your shift. Obviously, we’re a breakfast
restaurant, and so sometimes ailments occur when you wake. But if you are wavering the night before, please let the
manager know so an appropriate decision can be made at that time.

Unexcused Absence – This includes showing up more than 30 minutes late, calling in less than 2 hours before a shift,
or not showing up for a shift BUT contacting a manager within 24 hours of the absence.
                                                                                                                   6
