Giwon Kim
M.P.A., Cornell Institute for Public Affairs | College of Human Ecology
Giwon is a second-year fellow at the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs
concentrating in economic and financial policy with a data-driven lens to
regional economic development. Giwon studied economics at Soka
University of America where he concentrated on how entrepreneurship
can solve social and economic issues within the private sector in the San
Francisco Bay and Los Angeles areas. Additionally, he has researched
non-violence and human security in the United Nations system. Giwon is
currently consulting for Fitch Ratings, where he conducts research on the
impact of COVID-19 on the US toll road industry.
Jing Wen Soh

As a sophomore, Jing Wen is originally from Singapore with experience Cau Chocolates
volunteering in Indonesia and working with companies around the region.
During her recent summer internships at a start-up and Deloitte
Consulting, she created a product market entry strategy into New Zealand
and proposed methods to raise revenue during COVID-19 for a private
healthcare firm in Thailand. Her experiences have cultivated an interest in
understanding and investing in people and businesses around the world.
Yi Zou
M.P.A., Cornell Institute for Public Affairs | College of Human Ecology
Yi is a second-year fellow at the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs,
concentrating in international development studies. She also minors in
regional planning. Her previous work experience was mainly in media
operations and outreach both in China’s municipal government and the
nonprofit sector. Yi has research interests in Southeast Asian Studies,
especially the local agribusinesses in Indonesia.
