                              Matchmaking with competencies

                              Competency diagnostic tools are an important tool to ensure that an
                              organization has the capability to realize its goals. In this context, the
                              term "competence" is usually defined as follows:
                                 A competence  is the  sum  of all  abilities, skills, knowledge,
                              personality and behavioral characteristics that serve as the basis for
                              successfully and effectively fulfilling a function in an organization in
                              such a way that  the achievement  of strategic corporate  goals  is
                              supported.
                                 And this definition  is  also relevant for the tool you are about to
                              learn more about.



                              The OutMatch ASSESS by SCHEELEN® tool

                              Let me jump in with some background information: The competence
                              diagnostic tool  OutMatch ASSESS  by   SCHEELEN® is   based on  the
                              ASSESS competence system, which was originally developed by
                              Bigby, Havis  & Associates, a consulting  firm  from  the USA
                              specializing  in  test procedures and assess- ment  centers.  The
                              German version was developed by myself and  SCHEELEN®  AG and has
                              been continuously refined and expanded. OutMatch ASSESS by
                              SCHEELEN®  replaces the ASSESS competence system we have been
                              offering since 2004. Worldwide, more than 3,800 customers with
                              about 12 million analyses per year are already using  this new
                              concept.

                                 The tool enables the holistic strategic development of the
                              entire company, individual divisions and departments but also
                                 of teams and managers as well as employees. It allows a
                               competence-oriented corporate and personnel development.
