Making progress measurable

in turn, the corporate goals. Strategic planning without a vision is
largely worthless - but so is a vision without an implementation-
oriented strategy. Vision and strategy belong together like the two
                              sides of the same coin.
As soon as the company has defined the vision, it can derive
corporate goals and business requirements from this in a structured
process and determine which target competencies each individual
manager and each individual employee must have in order to meet
the requirements. Job profiles can then be derived from this: For
each position in the competence-oriented company, there is a
clear description of the competencies required to optimally perform
                              an activity or job.

Companies that are unable to define which (also future)
competencies they will need in the future, cannot not be
able to find the right employee or the right find the right

employee or manager for the task at hand.

As already indicated: ASSESS not only helps to define the required
target competencies and job profiles, but also to analyze the
existing actual competencies on the part of managers and
                              employees.
