7 - Profiling³ in Leadership: Motivating Employees and Teams to Perform at Their Best

to reconsider other arguments and also to see something from a
perspective other than one's own for once.

By the way: This tip, which applies to employee development,
naturally also applies to the further development of managers.
Our Napoleon Chakka would certainly benefit from the learning
process of changing his perspective and entering the world of
               other people's perceptions.

Tip 6: Consider what type you are yourself

Especially with the dominant red, consider the specific
interactions that occur when "your" personality type meets this
               employee:

                • If you are a Red yourself (and this is likely because of your
job as a manager), you will probably not have any major
problems with the Red co-worker. Both of you may secretly
be glad to have found an equal partner.
                • If you are a Yellow, you should be careful not to make the
relationship with the employee too personal. In this respect,
the employee and you are probably completely different.
                • If you are a green, you are the "opposite type" of the fire-red
employee. Don't be intimidated - you are the boss!
                • If you are a blue manager, be careful not to overwhelm the
red employee with too many facts and figures.
