THE POWER OF READING PEOPLE
• A square symbol is used to represent the job profile for a results-
driven leader, someone who can not only sell but also guide a team.
• A circle symbolizes the candidate’s inherent traits, showing
a strong inclination toward forming relationships and need-
ing a consistent work environment.
• A star indicates the persona the applicant presented during
the interview—outgoing and assertive, aiming to match the
job’s expectations. However, this adapted persona is a stark
contrast to their natural disposition.
The analysis suggests a mismatch between the applicant’s natural
behavioral style and the job’s requirements. The candidate is likely
to struggle to sustain the forced persona in day-to-day tasks, poten-
tially leading to dissatisfaction and stress. It was concluded that the
applicant was not an ideal fit for the role and may face significant
challenges if hired.
In order to understand and read a profile using the TTI Success
Insights Wheel, you need to recognize the symbols:
• The square indicates the target profile.
• The dot indicates the natural style.
• The star denotes the adapted style, i.e., the behavioral strate-
gies consciously demonstrated.
While the TTI Style Insights DISC assessment identifies over 300
different combinations of behavioral preferences, it only displays 60
of them on the positions of the Success Insights Wheel. This means
that your position on the wheel is just an approximation to your
actual graph for visual purposes. Your style is plotted on the wheel
based on the position of all four factors and will emphasize the most
predominant factor from an observable point of view.
