HOW TO UNDERSTAND PEOPLE BETTER . . .
The real-world application of the DISC model enhanced by TTI’s
Style Insights assessment and reports excels through its use of four
color-coded dimensions of behavior, each described with engaging
terms. These dimensions describe aspects of behavior in terms of
people’s responses and approaches to engaging in those circum-
stances, and are not just labels; they encompass specific tendencies
and attitudes in a framework, along with identifiable strengths and
weaknesses and associated expressions. Additionally, to recognize
the complexity of human behavior, eight distinct styles are derived
from the primary four dimensions of behavior.
Due to the actionable insights for management, talent acquisition,
sales, and communication provided in the interpretive reports, the
Style Insights assessment based on the DISC model serves as a valu-
able, practical tool for professionals.
A Quick Overview of DISC
The Style Insights behavioral assessment categorizes four distinct
dimensions of behavior using vivid color associations:
1. Dominance (D): How one responds to problems and
challenges, associated with red – assertive and direct for the
“high” D style
2. Influence (I): How one responds to people and contacts,
associated with yellow – optimistic and outgoing for the
“high” I style
3. Steadiness (S): How one responds to pace and consistency, as-
sociated with green – tranquil and steady for the “high” S style
4. Compliance (C): How one responds to procedures and
constraints, associated with blue – analytical and rigorous
for the “high” C style
