get her personal belongings and then escort her out of the building.
Stephanie and I were on the tenth floor watching her being escorted

to her car and we high fived each other because we were finally able
to get rid of the second witch, and Jerome's ace.

The staff was shocked, and her cronies still felt like they could
have an attitude with me. You would think Melissa’s termination

would have been enough to shake them up. Jerome, their protector,

was gone and now so was Melissa. They should have realized that
everyone was fair game.

Terminating Melissa and Jerome meant that I could begin to
breathe again. The beauty of Melissa’s firing was that she did not see

it coming. Again, like Jerome, she left quietly. With all of their tough
talk and bullying tactics, they had both crumbled. It was the first time

I had seen the heifer sweat in three years. As soon as she was fired, I
just went on my cell phone lo-jack and watched the phones light up. I

could see Jerome’s incoming calls which included Melissa and Tonya,
who was still on the inside and whom I could not fire yet.

I had to continue to deal with crazy Tonya because she was the

task manager on a highly visible conference. This conference was for
the client she had flicked off on. The client wanted both Melissa and
Tonya removed from the conference, which meant I had to take on

the role of the conference manager. I solved one problem by firing

Melissa, but the attorneys would not let me fire Tonya. They were still
