also planned a surprise birthday party for Christine. When I met with

the attorneys, they were looking at our cash flow. Kenneth and the
corporate attorney suggested I speak with a bankruptcy attorney,

named Jared. I left their office feeling numb, I did not have a clue what
bankruptcy meant. In my head, I just saw that I was doomed; I would

walk around with shame because of the bankruptcy. I was raised to
pay my bills. After hearing that news, I had to prepare for the surprise

birthday party planned for later that evening. I went to the store to
shop for food and Christine’s gift.

I realized I had not eaten in a few days – when stress occurs my
digestive system seems to shut down. The party was scheduled for

7:00 pm and I had twenty people for which to prepare. They arrived,
and Christine arrived later and was surprised. Everyone hung around

until around 11:00 pm, then they started to leave. After they left

Christine and another sister's friend, Marie stayed at the house. I left
them in the kitchen playing backgammon and went to bed.
