Jewel was coming to town the following day for a one day retreat

she was sponsoring. She and her sister were staying with me.

I went to the police department to file the report only to find out

I needed to go to court to obtain a restraining order. I was tired by

this time and decided I would just deal with this the following Monday
and I would enjoy my sister's friends over the weekend.

I had promised Jewel I would assist with her retreat. She had
registered over 150 women for the retreat. This goes to show you how

she motivates women to come out and she allows us to drop the
"Face." There were women from New York, New Jersey,

Pennsylvania, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, all of whom traveled to
hear my sister-friend.

I did not want to burden her again with all the drama that
occurred earlier in the week, so I continued to put on the "Face" for

her and her sister. On the day of the retreat, I was designated to assist
her as presented, if she needed water, or whatever she needed I would

assist her. I had encouraged many of my inner sister circles to attend
and we were all one that day.

Jewel always knew how to break me down, regardless of the
“Face” that I had trained for the public. She always had a list of songs

at her retreats that spoke to the subject she was addressing. This

particular retreat addressed the baggage we women tend to carry. She
is also a visual speaker. She had several women to bring their handbags

and place them on each of her arms until she could not carry anymore.
