Giselle hired friends and family on an as-needed part-time basis
to assist with proposal and marketing. She had earned enough money
from the temporary gigs to bring on consultants. Giselle also became
a consultant on the contract, keeping her salary, at the same time
generating revenues for CGS. I can say Giselle was always about her
business.
A year after we moved with METS, Jerome was able to schmooze
a million-dollar contract from one of his previous clients, and Giselle
was able to become full-time with CGS. I became a consultant to
METS and CGS.
At the same time, Shannon from Cox and Associates had become
unemployed and needed work. This was my first-time meeting
Shannon and from the beginning, I knew I could not trust her. I just
did not like the way she had Giselle and Jerome wrapped around her
finger. She was straight up ghetto. When she and Jerome came
together, the entire office became ghetto. Giselle always maintained
her professionalism and she understood about corporate America and
my background. I always and still wonder why Giselle had hired
Shannon.
Giselle hired Shannon as an administrative assistant for CGS
making a salary of 35,000 and METS hired her as a consultant. Jerome
and I remained working at IT Solutions until the contract we were
working on ended. We became full time under CGS, two years later.
