By this time, the contract had generated enough revenues to cover our
salaries.
I was able to land another contract valued at 3 million dollars with
another federal agency and we also had to hire an additional five
people.
The day Shannon was hired, crazy stuff immediately began.
Before Shannon joined the team there was harmony, everyone worked
together. A week after she joined, everyone started hating each other.
Everybody thought it was me and Jerome that had issues when the
whole time it was Shannon who was in the middle of everything, but
she had Giselle right under her thumb, cause that was her “sistah girl”
I guess. Giselle thought Shannon had her back, that was her girl until
Shannon had a falling out with the person that had been designated as
the Project Director when she became a consultant. It then became
METS and CGS competing over stupid things. The second year of the
contract the work environment at METS office was hostile. Somehow
the clients got involved and the person Giselle had designated as her
replacement on the contract was fired. Shannon was behind that
whole ugly mess. I saw right through Shannon's game! I still don't
think to this day that Giselle has a clue what happened to the
relationship she had with her client for nine years.
There was also tension building between Giselle, Michael,
Jerome, Shannon, and I. We were paying rent to METS for use of
their office space and equipment. Initially, Giselle was paying out of
