Reconnecting Jerome and Shannon was the worse decision that

Giselle ever made. That conniving heifer Shannon got Jerome to
approve a salary increase from $35,000 to $75,000. Crazy begins. That

girl had only the experience of a receptionist and here she was a VP
and making $75,000 with no college degree. Since Jerome was head of

HR, he approved her salary increase without Giselle, the CEO or my

approval. The second biggest mistake was having Jerome head the
Human Resource department. Jerome was my boy, but he did not

have a clue as to how critical the HR function is to a company. We
would find out later.

When we moved to our new office space, we hired an additional
seven employees. We had an administrative assistant, a project

director, a conference manager, two project assistants and a corporate
attorney on retainer.

Jerome, as the HR director, interviewed and hired the employees.
With Jerome doing the hiring, the company began to take on his

personality. Jerome was my boy and, at that time, I thought he knew
how to run the company a lot better than Giselle did. Sometimes

women in charge are so caught up in trying to prove something to
men that they don't seem to make sound business decisions. I thought

that about Giselle when she hired Shannon and let her run amuck!

During the time Jerome and I worked at IT Solutions, Jerome

looked out for me! He knew I had a young growing family and I was

a hard worker, so he gave me suits, shoes, or whatever else I needed.
