Off and Running

W
e were very fortunate, Shannon and Jerome conned a ninety-

year-old man into leasing his office space to us for dirt cheap
and we moved from METS into our own space in Bowie,

Maryland (a suburb of Washington, DC).

Jerome and Shannon became inseparable; the fast living began.

Jerome purchased a new Mercedes under the company; all employees
had the latest technological gadgets, cell phones and anything else they

thought they could run through the company. I kept my focus on
continuing to bring business to CGS.

Each of us supposedly had our roles in the company. Of course,
Giselle owned 51% of the shares so she was the CEO and Jerome, the

President, I was the Senior Vice President. Shannon had maneuvered

her way into the office of Vice President of Operations. Giselle headed
the Accounting and Proposals departments; Jerome and Shannon

were responsible for Human Resources, while I was head of Sales and
Marketing, that's what I do best!
